Situated on the stunning North East coast of the Isle of Skye, overlooking the picturesque Loch Mealt and the dramatic Trotternish Ridge, is the small hand weaving studio and gallery of Maggie Williams.
All of the designs are sampled by Maggie here on a traditional dobby loom and are then either skilfully hand woven in the studio, or in small runs at Scottish mills. High quality natural fibres are used, predominantly merino and lambswool, which gives beautiful softness, warmth and lightness to the finished pieces.
By using traditional time-honoured skills and craftsmanship, Maggie handweaves timeless heirloom quality pieces (such as cushion covers, throws and scarves), produced in a sustainable and ethically responsible manner.
